Background Note

The Rho Chi Brooklyn College of Pharmacy Chapter was a chapter of the Rho Chi Society, an international honor society for pharmaceutical sciences. The chapter was established in 1954 by pharmacy students and faculty at Long Island University's Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and was granted a charter by Rho Chi's national office in 1955. Currently known as Rho Chi's Beta Theta Chapter, it is open to pharmacy honor students at Long Island University's Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
