Bader, Alfred, 1924-2018

Bound class notebook created by Austrian Canadian research chemist, entrepreneur, art historian, and art collector Alfred Bader. Notebook was created by Bader as a graduate student at Harvard University’s Chemistry Department for a course taught by American organic chemist and Nobel Prize winner Robert Burns Woodward.

This is a collection of original and research materials centered on Josef Loschmidt and A. Scott Couper and their relationship to their work to that of August Kekule.
