Series Description
Arranged alphabetically by subject, this series contains Kenneth R. Shoulders’ notebooks. Most of the notebooks were created by Shoulders himself and provide limited documentation of his professional, personal, and school activities between 1940 and 1993. This series also contains photocopies of six research notebooks created by famed electrical engineer and inventor Dudley A. Buck, a colleague of Shoulders at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The copies of Buck’s notebooks document research he conducted at MIT.
The contents of this series consist mainly of ring notebooks. Eight unbound notebooks (including the photocopies of Dudley A. Buck’s notebooks) and four bound notebooks are also found here. A handful of Shoulders’ pocket notebooks are preserved in this series as well.
