Series Description

Arranged alphabetically by subject, this series contains manuscripts written by Kenneth R. Shoulders. The materials preserved in this series provide written documentation of research he conducted between the late 1950s and late 1980s. Most of items in this series were later printed or published, some examples of which are preserved in Series IV – Patent Files, Series VII – Papers, Presentations, and Speeches, and Series VIII – Printed Materials.

A large majority of the manuscripts in this series were written by Shoulders during his tenure at Stanford Research Institute, which include those of various SRI publications and proposals. A smaller, but noticeable, number of manuscripts written by Shoulders as part of his independent physics research on Electrum Validum are found in this series, which include, but are not limited to those for his book EV, A Tale of Discovery. Two manuscripts of speeches given by Shoulders at professional conferences are also preserved here.

Typed manuscripts make up a majority of the materials in this series. A noticeable number of printed manuscripts and a few handwritten manuscripts are also found here. A small amount of accompanying materials, including notes and drawing reproductions, are preserved in this series as well.
