Series II. Miscellaneous, 1965-1998, undated

Arranged alphabetically by subject, this series contains miscellaneous materials collected by the Syntex Syva Alumni Association. All the materials in this series were either created by or directly pertain to Syntex Corporation and to a lesser extent, its corporate successor Roche Bioscience.

The Miscellaneous series' contents consist of a variety of items. Files of miscellaneous business records, which include four files belonging to Syntex subsidiary Arapahoe Chemicals, Incorporated and two files containing Syntex company reports, make up the largest portion of this series. Four files of materials regarding Syntex's Palo Alto, California campus, which contain a map, fact sheets and floor plans, and the contents of a tour binder, are also found in this series. Three certificates presented to Syntex, including two award certificates and a City of Palo Alto, California certificate of occupancy are also found in the series. A handful of other miscellaneous items, including, but not limited to, notes for a 1991 presentation given at St. Francis High School, a manuscript for the Syntex exhibit Obstetrics & Gynecology, and a photocopy of an untitled poem are preserved here as well.
