Sub-series 4. Photo Albums, 1967-1996, undated

Arranged alphabetically by subject, this sub-series contains the Syntex Syva Alumni Association's photo album collection. A large majority of the photo albums were created by the staff of Syntex Corporation. A single photo album created by the staff of Roche Bioscience, Syntex's corporate successor, is also preserved here.

A large majority of the images found in the Photo Albums sub-series are of Syntex and Roche Bioscience social functions. A significant number of images of various Syntex personnel and the firm's Palo Alto, California campus are also found in the photo albums. A few images of Syntex community service activities and business meetings are also found here.

Photographs make up the bulk of the materials found in the Photo Albums sub-series. A small number of 35 millimeter slides and 3D color photographs are also preserved in this sub-series. A small amount of accompanying materials, including, but not limited to, notes, flyers, magazine and newspaper clippings, and speeches are included in the Photo Albums sub-series as well.
