Scope and Content
The L. Arthur D’Asaro Papers contain the personal papers of American physicist and electronics engineer L. Arthur D’Asaro. The collection is arranged into the following eight series:

Sub-series Description
Arranged alphabetically by subject, this sub-series contains L. Arthur D’Asaro’s files regarding self electrooptic effect devices. They provide detailed documentation regarding the research and development work carried out by D’Asaro and his Bell Laboratories colleagues on this particular technology.
The contents of the Self Electrooptic Effect Devices Files consist mainly of Bell Laboratories technical memorandums and processing sheets. A significant amount of photocopied articles and papers are also present in this sub-series. Correspondence, presentations, notes, reports, article reprints, and a 3.5 inch floppy disk are also preserved in the Self Electrooptic Effect Devices Files. A small amount of photographic materials, which consist of photographs and a few transparencies, are found in this sub-series as well.
