Scope and Content
The L. Arthur D’Asaro Papers contain the personal papers of American physicist and electronics engineer L. Arthur D’Asaro. The collection is arranged into the following eight series:

Sub-series Description
Arranged alphabetically by subject, this sub-series contains L. Arthur D’Asaro's photograph collection. A large majority of the images in this sub-series pertain to projects D’Asaro worked on at Bell Laboratories. Of particular interest are the images regarding gallium arsenide field effect transistors and self electrooptic effect devices. A few images of D’Asaro’s colleagues at Bell Laboratories are also present in this sub-series. A handful of images of D’Asaro himself and an image of his great grandfather Peter Bennage are also preserved here.
Photographs of various sizes make up the bulk of the materials in this sub-series. A handful of photocopied images are also present in this sub-series. A small amount of accompanying notes are preserved here as well.
