Sub-series 3. E-Numbered Files, 1964-1996, undated

Arranged numerically by file number (E-1, E-2, E-3, etc.), this sub-series is mainly comprised of conference presentations and articles written and co-written by Eugene Garfield. A handful of articles not authored by Garfield, which pertain to information science topics, are also found here.

The contents of the E-Numbered Files consist mainly of article and presentation manuscripts. Noticeable amounts of periodical, journal, and newspaper articles, correspondence, bibliography printouts, and publications are also present in this sub-series. Smaller amounts of a variety of other materials, including, but not limited to, article reprints, miscellaneous printed materials, notes, and transparencies are preserved here as well.
