Series Description
Arranged alphabetically by format and alphabetically by subject, this series consists of electronic storage materials collected by Eugene Garfield. Its contents consist of 1 5.25 inch floppy disk, 26 CD-ROMs, 9 DVDs, and 1 zip disk.
A significant number of items in this series were created for use in Eugene Garfield's presentations at various professional functions. Also of note in this sub-series are several items regarding Garfield himself and 4 DVD copies of the ISI instructional film How to Use the Science Citation Index. A few items created for other miscellaneous purposes are also present here.
The CD-ROMs in this series contain a variety of materials, including, but not limited to, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Pdf documents, HTML documents, digital images, and audio recordings. The contents of the DVDs consist solely of video recordings. The 5.25 inch floppy disk contains demonstration software for ISI's Science Citation Index. The contents of the zip disk are unknown.
