Series Description
Arranged alphabetically by subject, this series consists of 8.5 x 11 transparencies. A large majority of the transparencies were created by ISI for use by Eugene Garfield. A handful of transparencies created by Sandia National Laboratories and an unidentified firm are also found here.
The transparencies in this series were used by Eugene Garfield for his various speeches and presentations. They cover a diverse range of topics pertaining to information science and Garfield's career. A number of the speeches and presentations for which these transparencies were created can be found in Series II.
Black and white transparencies and color transparencies make up the bulk of the materials in this series. A large majority of the transparencies are mounted on cardboard frames. A noticeable amount of accompanying speech and presentation manuscripts are also found in this series. A small amount of other accompanying materials, including print versions of a few of the transparencies, notes, a floppy disk and a CD-ROM are found here as well.
