Sub-series 4. Slides, 1965-1996, undated

Arranged alphabetically by subject, this sub-series contains Eugene Garfield's collection of 35 mm slides. The slides in this sub-series were created by ISI and used for staff, sales, and public relations purposes. Many of them were used by Garfield for his speeches and presentation. A number of the speeches and presentations for which some of these slides were created can be found in Series II.

The images in the Slides sub-series concern a number of subjects. Presentation slides featuring text, graphs, and illustrations make up a significant portion of the images in this sub-series. A large number of slides concerning ISI, including its facilities, artwork, and products are also present in this sub-series. A handful of slides of Garfield himself are preserved here as well.
