Scope and Content
The Beckman Historical Collection contains the corporate records of the American scientific and medical instrument manufacturer Beckman Coulter, Incorporated and the personal papers of American scientist and industrialist Arnold O. Series Description
Arranged alphabetically by format, this series contains a handful of miscellaneous oversized items. Most of the items in this series, including the advertisements, calendar, periodicals, a photograph of Beckman Instruments' 1952 Annual Picnic, posters, publications, and an album of patents pertain to Arnold O. Beckman and Beckman Instruments, Incorporated. A photograph and photo negative labelled "Spring Lake, 50th Anniversary," and a wall hanging bust of Joseph Priestly, none of which have any apparent connection to Arnold O. Beckman or Beckman Coulter, are also found in this series.
