Scope and Content
The Papers of Jerome B. Schapiro contain organizational records collected and maintained by American chemical engineer and dry cleaning industry executive Jerome B. Schapiro. The files in this collection document Schapiro’s involvement with several policy making and advocacy organizations concerned with textile product and safety standards. The National Small Business Association (NSBA), founded in 1937, is an American advocacy organization for small business owners. Jerome B. Schapiro, as President of Dixo Company, Incorporated, was an active member of the NSBA.
