Sub-series Description

Arranged alphabetically by author, this sub-series contains Kurt M. Mislow’s publication files. The files in this sub-series mainly concern the development of selected published materials authored and co-authored by Mislow. Files concerning a handful of science journal articles authored and co-authored by Mislow make up a majority of the materials in this sub-series. A few files regarding Mislow’s textbook Introduction to Stereochemistry and a single file regarding an unfinished book started by Mislow are also preserved in the Publication Files. Two files regarding an article about Mislow authored by Jay S. Siegel and a Ph.D. thesis authored by James E. Senior are also present here.

The contents of the Publication Files consist of a variety of materials. Article and book manuscripts, correspondence, journal articles, reprints, and photocopied book chapters and pages are the most common materials found in this sub-series. A noticeable number of photographs, negatives, drawings, and drawing reproductions are also present in the Publication Files. Small amounts of other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, legal documents, financial documents, notes, magazine articles, and periodicals are preserved in this sub-series as well.
