Series Description
Arranged alphabetically by subject, this series contains Kurt Mislow’s meeting files. These files concern various meetings Mislow had the opportunity to attend, including lectures, conferences, symposia, and university commencements. Mislow attended most of the meetings represented in this series. He gave lectures, speeches, or presentations at a number of the functions documented in these files.
The contents of the Meeting Files consist of a variety of materials. Correspondence, programs, handouts, magazine articles, and newspaper articles are the most common materials found in this series. Smaller, but noticeable, amounts of paper and speech manuscripts (some presented by Mislow), notes (Mislow’s speech/lecture notes and notes taken by Mislow during meetings), and participant lists are also present in this series. Other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to journal articles, newsletters, and a few photographs are preserved here as well.
