Scope and Content
The Kurt M. Mislow Papers contain the professional and personal papers of German-American organic chemist Kurt M. Mislow. The collection is arranged into the following nine series:

Sub-series Description
Arranged alphabetically by subject, this sub-series contains Kurt M. Mislow’s personal miscellaneous files. The files in this sub-series mainly concern Mislow’s life and personal affairs and the affairs and history of the Mislow Family. Files pertaining to Kurt M. Mislow himself, most of which contain materials created early in his life, make up the largest component of the Miscellaneous Files. A smaller, but noticeable, number of files concerning five individual members of the Mislow Family are also preserved in this sub-series. A few files concerning various miscellaneous subjects are also present here.
The contents of the Miscellaneous Files consist of a wide variety of materials. Correspondence, legal documents, school report cards, programs for various functions, and notes are the most common materials found in this sub-series. Small amounts of other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, notebooks, diplomas, passports, and curricula vitae are preserved here as well.
