Scope and Content
The Chinese American Chemical Society Records contains the Chinese American Chemical Society’s organizational records. The records are arranged into the following eleven series:

Sub-series Description
Arranged in its original order by subject, this sub-series contains four files pertaining to the history of the Chinese American Chemical Society. These files provide a limited amount of information regarding CACS’ early history.
The contents of the History of CACS Files consist of two copies of Jesse H.C. Hwa’s The Founding and the Early Years of the Chinese American Chemical Society, photocopies of the magazine article “Chinese-American Chemical Association Inaugurated”, captions for photographs in the Chinese American Chemical Society Photo Albums (preserved in the Science History Institute’s Image Archives), and a webpage printout from an early CACS website.
