These files document CACS’s various activities, including administrative matters, membership matters, the drafting of CACS’ constitution and by-laws, and the organization of meetings and symposia.
The contents of the General Correspondence files consist of a variety of materials. Memoranda (often designated as “Communications”) and letters make up most of the materials in this sub-series. Smaller, but noticeable, amounts of notes, reports, drafts of CACS’ constitution and by-laws, and questionnaires are also found in these files. Small amounts of other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, member lists, communications lists, and speech manuscripts are preserved in this sub-series as well.
