Sub-series Description
Arranged chronologically by date, this sub-series contains four “Correspondence and Other Miscellaneous” files generated by the Chinese American Chemical Society between 1982 and 1984. These files concern CACS’ relationships with chemists and chemical engineers in the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan. Matters covered in these files include, but are not limited to, delegation visits, working relationships between CACS and institutions in the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan, and scientific exchanges.
Letters, memoranda, and curricula vitae are the most common materials found in these files. Small amounts of other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, notes, trip itineraries, and reports are preserved here as well.
