Sub-series Description
Arranged chronologically by date, this sub-series contains the Intersociety Committee Communications. Matters covered by these files include the establishment and maintenance of relationships between CACS and various chemistry and chemical engineering societies in the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan, scientific exchanges, and delegation visits.
Memoranda (often designated as “Communications”) and letters are the most common materials found in this sub-series. Small amounts of other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, membership application forms and photocopied newspaper articles are preserved here as well.
