Sub-series Description
Arranged in its original order, this sub-series contains five files concerning the Chinese American Chemical Society’s Chemical Engineering Society Program, which was organized and overseen by the Intersociety Committee. Under this program, CACS sent chemical engineering experts to the People’s Republic of China to lecture and provide technical consultation. The Chemical Engineering Society Program was terminated in 1986.
Letters, reports, and curricula vitae are the most common materials found in this sub-series. Small amounts of other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, memoranda (often designated as “Communications”), photocopied magazine articles, notes, and participant lists are preserved here as well.
