Sub-series Description

This sub-series contains the files of IUPAC’s Ad Hoc Committee on Statutes and By-Laws. This committee concerned itself with matters regarding IUPAC’s statutes and by-laws. Arranged in its original chronological order by date, this sub-series documents the activities of the Ad Hoc Committee on Statutes and By-Laws between 1938 and 1973.

Correspondence makes up the bulk of the materials in the Ad Hoc Committee on Statutes and By-Laws Committee. Other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, statutes and by-laws, minutes, and reports are preserved here as well.
