Sub-series Description
This sub-series contains the files of IUPAC’s Interdivisional Committee on Machine Documentation in the Chemical Field. This committee concerned itself with matters regarding machine readable chemistry documentation.
Arranged in its original chronological order by date, this sub-series documents the activities of the Interdivisional Committee on Machine Documentation in the Chemical Field between 1947 and 1950. Correspondence makes up the bulk of the materials in these files. Other miscellaneous materials, including reports and minutes are preserved here as well.
