Series Description

Company Associates are organizations such as industrial companies, research and development institutions, scientific societies, or any other bodies interested in IUPAC’s activities, who are associate members of IUPAC. They support IUPAC financially and provide input to IUPAC’s Bureau on matters of concern to industry. Within IUPAC, the Company Associates are currently represented by the Committee on Chemistry and Industry.

Arranged in its original chronological order by date, the Company Associates files provide documentation of IUPAC’s Company Associate Scheme, through which Company Associates were first admitted to IUPAC’s membership in 1969. The contents of the Company Associates files consist of correspondence.
