Series I: 16mm Films, undated
Content Description
The Science Screen Report Film and Video Collection contains both VHS cassette tapes and 16mm film reels of educational shorts about science topics. While the 16mm films lack additional printed materials, the VHS tapes include printed guidance for teachers in their cases. These printed materials change over the years but can include a list of curriculum units that the film could tie into, prerequisite readings and concepts for different grade levels, and critical thinking exercises that could accompany the video. Note that two of the VHS tapes in Series II are not part of the Science Screen Report series, although they were still produced by the same production company, Allegro Productions: Scientists and the Alaska Oil Spill and The Story of Garbage. Tapes and film reels are between 10 and 25 minutes long.
The collection is arranged into the following two series:
- 16mm Films
- VHS Cassette Tapes
Dates
- Creation: undated
