Sub-series Description
Arranged alphabetically by author, this sub-series contains William A. Lester, Jr.’s Alphabetical Publication Files. The materials in this sub-series concern a few articles that Lester and his collaborators sought to get published in science journals.
The bulk of the articles represented in this sub-series are unpublished. A single file concerning H.M. Cho’s and William A. Lester, Jr.’s article “Explicit Solvent Model for Quantum Monte Carlo,” which was published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, but not listed in Lester’s publication list (the list preserved in Box 49 Folder 13) is also present here.
Manuscripts and correspondence are the most common materials found in the Alphabetical Publication Files. Small amounts other miscellaneous materials, including, but not limited to, articles, reprints, and photographs, are preserved here as well.
