Sub-series Description
Arranged numerically by publication number (as listed in William A. Lester’s Jr.’s publication list in Box 59 Folder 27), this sub-series contains an incomplete set of publications authored and co-authored by Lester between 1964 and 2007. These materials provide published documentation of chemical research conducted by Lester and his collaborators, including his work on atom-molecule scattering, molecular collisions, computational chemistry, and his use of Quantum Monte Carlo methods.
Science journal article reprints make up the bulk of the materials found in this sub-series. Small numbers of published conference papers, book chapters, University of Wisconsin-Madison publications, and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory publications are also found in this sub-series. A photocopied title page for the book Recent Advances in Quantum Monte Carlo Methods, which was edited by Lester, is preserved here as well.
