Arranged chronologically, this sub-series contains materials produced by Robert H. Socolow during his National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physics at the University of California, Berkeley and European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN). This includes physics lectures notes and papers from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, this sub-series contains materials related to Socolow's involvement in the Free Speech Movement of the 1960s, as well as personal and professional correspondence. The sub-series also contains physics research notes and papers produced at CERN.
