Sub-series Description
Arranged alphabetically, this sub-series contains files related to Robert H. Socolow's carbon capture work and research with the American Physical Society's Panel on Public Affairs. Several folders in this sub-series contain files pertaining to “Direct Air Capture of CO2 with Chemicals”, a report authored by Socolow for the Panel on Public Affairs. There are also three folders containing drafts and reviews for the report “Chemical Capture of CO2 from Ambient Air: A Technology Assessment”. In addition to these reports, this sub-series also contains correspondence between Socolow and other members of the Panel on Public Affairs, as well as notes from meetings and workshops.
The contents of the Direct Air Carbon Capture files contain a variety of materials. These include correspondence, drafts, reports, manuscripts, printed materials, and meeting notes.
