From the Collection:

The Records of Carbogel, Incorporated contain corporate records generated by Carbogel, Incorporated. The collection mainly documents Carbogel, Incorporated’s administrative and research and development activities during the time period in which the donor, Richard M. Goodman, was employed by the firm as a Project Director (1984-1987). It also contains a small amount of material documenting Goodman’s consultant work for Energy International, Incorporated, another alternative fuels technology company.

Sub-series Description

INNOVATECH Energy Systems, Incorporated was a Canadian energy company. It was formed to develop Atmospheric Fluidized Bed Combustion (AFBC) and Coal Water Slurry (CWS) technology developed by the Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS) and Cape Breton Development Corporation (CBDC). INNOVATECH appears to have worked with Energy International, Incorporated. The contents of these files consist of a variety of materials, including, but not limited to, correspondence, a business plan, an agreement, and a proposal.
