Series III. Awards and Honors, 1953-2001, undated
Scope and Content
The Glenn E. Ullyot Collection contains the personal and professional papers of the American research chemist Glenn E. Ullyot. It deals in large part with Ullyot’s professional career, particularly his work with diuretics at Smith, Kline & French. The collection contains several publications related to Ullyot’s work as well as the activities of Smith, Kline & French during Ullyot’s time with the company. This collection is not a unified body of material documenting Ullyot’s life and achievements and there is a paucity of material on his work with the anti-depressant Stelazine, which was a significant part of Ullyot’s career.
The Glenn E. Ullyot Collection is arranged into the following four series:
- Biographical Materials
- Professional Career
- Awards and Honors
- Notebooks of Glenn E. Ullyot
