Scope and Content
The collection consists of a pamphlet and the loose contents that were inserted into it. The inserts include handwritten notes and blank postcards. Includes a brief account of the Japanese use of Lewisite in World War II: “In Solomons: Gas probably Lewisite on vegetation-about 12 men affected. First Aid, cocoanut meat & water MI Ointment. Small blisters, red patches. No serious casualties. September 1942. Ray Gold OCS Co E. 19 July 43." -- Written on the back of the visiting card of Lynford E. Graham, Major, Chemical Warfare Service, United States Army.
