A collection of selected fabrics woven by George Manton scrapbook

Scope and content

This scrapbook which was created by Robert P. Morningstar of Morningstar, Nicol Inc. it contains 15 mounted woven samples made from synthetic fibers. The fabrics were either designed by or actually woven by George Manton an employee of the company. The swatches are folded and mounted on the pages using t-pins. Some handwritten technical text accompanies some of the samples.

This copy of Wilson's manual, originally published in 1928, is divided into two parts, a longish Introduction and a section on Body Tissues and Fluids. It contains detailed instructions for laboratory exercises. There are three lined sheet loosely laid into the text detailing Neal's work on a problem involving Ca++ Determination, dated March 16, 1943.
