Background Note
William Benzon was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 31, 1912. William Benzon died in Allentown, PA on November 21, 1998. Benzon attended the University of Virginia and John Hopkins University and was employed by the Mining Division of Bethlehem Steel. He retired from Bethlehem Steel as Superintendent of Coal Preparation.
