Biographical sketch

Kernforschungszentrum Karlsruhe (KfK) was founded in 1956 as a German national nuclear research facility. In 2009 it merged with Fridericiana, a polytechnical school founded in 1825, and became the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. KfK published its first nuclide chart in 1956.
