Biographical sketch
John W. Cusic was born in Alerton, Illinois on August 8, 1908. He attended De Pauw University and received his M.S. degee from the University of Illinois in 1932. He worked for G.D. Searle and Company in Chicago as a research chemist in 1936 and remained with Searle unitl his retirement in 1972. Among the drugs he created for Searle are Dramamine, Pro-Banthine, Banthine, and Norpace.
