Biographical sketch

Dr. Peter P. Regna was born in 1907. He attended Polytechnic University through to his Ph.D. and worked at Pfizer, Inc. where in 1950 he was part of a team that discovered Terramycin. He was also active in penicillin production. Later the Squibb Institute for Medical Research he was a pioneer in genetic engineering. He was co-founded and was director of Harrington Research Co. He died on June 29, 2001.

Biographical sketch

The Squibb Institute for Medical Research was dedicated on October 11, 1938. It was founded by the pharmaceutical film of E. R. Squibb & Sons for the discovering "new therapeutic agents for the prevention or cure of disease, or the relief of human suffering.".
