Scope and content
The collection consists of a letter from the donor, Judith Frank; a pamphlet titled, The Story of Aero Cyanamid: Nitrogen from the Air (undated); and A Brief History of Calcium Carbide Manufacture in the United States and Canada (1958). A Brief History of Calcium Carbide Manufacture in the United States and Canada was presented by W.J. Fulton at the Electric Furnace Conference on December 5, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. Included in the presentation are sepia-toned photographs related to carbide furnaces.
