Scope and Content

The National Exposition of Chemical Industries Commemorative Stamp Collection includes two stamps celebrating the organization. One stamp features a color illustration of a man lifting an industrial skyline above his head and shoulders with text in English that reads, “Exposition Chemical Industries, Grand Central Palace, New York, Week of September 25, American Chemical Industries.” The second stamp features a color illustration of a chemist in a lab set against an urban skyline with text in English that reads, “Don’t Miss The Exposition Chemical Industries, Grand Central Palace, New York, Week of Sept. 20th.” Also included in the collection is an artifact inventory sheet detailing the contents of the collection and where the materials were derived from.
