Scope and Content

This collection contains materials regarding the papers of Swedish chemist and oceanographer Otto Pettersson, which are preserved at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Laboratory in Gothenburg, Sweden. The materials in this collection were compiled by historian of science Elisabeth T. Crawford. The contents of this collection consist of two copies of a brief synopsis of the Otto Pettersson Papers, two copies of a preliminary inventory of the Otto Pettersson Papers drawn up by Elisabeth T. Crawford, and a card from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

The Elisabeth T. Crawford - Otto Pettersson Collection was donated to the National Foundation for the History of Chemistry (now called the Science History Institute) by Elisabeth T. Crawford on March 7, 1990.
