Two bound laboratory notebooks created by American organic chemist Myron Rosenblum. The notebooks were created by Rosenblum as a graduate student at Harvard University’s Chemistry Department. They document research conducted by Rosenblum under American organic chemist and Nobel Prize winner Robert Burns Woodward, including his research on ferrocene.

Booklets for N.V. Polak & Schwarz's Flavor Factories and a program from the "25 Year Club" Dinner for International Flavors & Fragrances Incorporated. One booklet, titled "N.V. Polak & Schwarz's Essencefabrieken" has comments written in Dutch and French and is signed by N. van Der Beek. On page 28 there is an original letter in French dated May 25, 1935 on letterhead of Polak & Schwarz, addressed to Mr. van Der Beek dealing with prices of various flavors.
