Meites, Samuel, 1921-

The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Records mainly contain materials concerned with the history of the AACC and to a lesser extent, divisional records of the Ohio Valley Section of the AACC. The files in this collection contain correspondence, publications, conference records, and meeting records. The American Association for Clinical Chemistry Records were compiled by Samuel Meites.

The Papers of Louise O. Simonson contain public relations materials created by Louise O. Simonson for the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC). They provide documentation of her work as a communications consultant for the AACC.

Arranged in their original order, the contents of this collection consist of a variety of materials, including biographical sketches, correspondence, copies of Clinical Chemistry News, and press releases.

This collection contains material from two publications: Pediatric Clinical Chemistry: Reference (Normal) Values, edited by Samuel Meites and published in 1988 and Otto Folin: America’s First Clinical Biochemist, written by Samuel Meites and published in 1989.
