Scope and Content
The Richard W. Dodson Papers contain the personal papers of American scientist Richard W. Dodson. The collection is arranged into the following six series:

Series Description
Arranged alphabetically, this series contains Richard W. Dodson’s personal files. Most of the files in this series pertain to Dodson himself. A handful of files regarding subjects figuring prominently in Dodson’s life and career, including Brookhaven National Laboratory, the California Institute of Technology, and a few fellow scientists are also found here.
The contents of the Personal Files consist of a variety of materials. Correspondence, clippings, publications, and photographs are found in these files. A few of Dodson’s personal documents, including, but not limited to, his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cal Tech, various certificates awarded to him, his high school diploma, and report cards are also found here. Miscellaneous notes, two manuscripts, three VHS videotapes (of A Symposium to Honor the Life and Career of Richard W. Dodson), and ether resin samples are preserved in the Personal Files as well.
