From the Collection:

The Beckman Historical Collection contains the corporate records of the American scientific and medical instrument manufacturer Beckman Coulter, Incorporated and the personal papers of American scientist and industrialist Arnold O. Beckman. The collection is arranged into the following fourteen series:

Sub-series Description

Arranged alphabetically by title and numerically by DVD number, this sub-series contains DVDs. A large majority of the DVDs in this sub-series are video recordings, which regard a variety of subjects. Documentaries about the history of Beckman Coulter, Incorporated and its corporate predecessors Coulter, Incorporated and Spinco, tributes to Arnold O. Beckman, and interviews of Arnold O. Beckman and former Beckman employees are among the video recordings found in the DVDs sub-series. DVD video recordings of Beckman Coulter instructional materials, speeches by Arnold O. Beckman, and various celebrations are also found here. Eleven DVD copies of the video tapes found in Series XII, Sub-series 1 are preserved here as well.

In addition to the video recordings, three DVDs containing digital images pertaining to the history of Beckman Coulter are found in this sub-series. One copy of the DVD set Cytometry, Volume 10, Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories, which consists of a video recording and a DVD ROM, is also found here. Two CD-ROM audio recordings, which regard Arnold O. Beckman and the history of Beckman Coulter, Incorporated are in this sub-series as well.

General Note

Two CD-ROMs are preserved in this sub-series. They are kept in this sub-series because they were determined to be an integral part of the Exhibit DVD Titles (Box 100A Objects 36-61 and Box 100B Objects 1-11).
